Horizonte Seafront Suites are located at Drapanias village a few meters far from the sea. If you walk along the rocky coastline of Nopigia you will meet the charming church of Panagia Myrtidiotissa where a great festival takes place every year on 23rd of September. Further to the south the path takes you to Drapanias village with the traditional cafés through a hollow olive tree. There is also a church of 15th century dedicated to St Nicolaos and a Venice tower definitely worth visiting. There is a bakery with delicious bread and a winery open to public. A few kilometers to the west is settled the town of Kastelli or Kissamos, the second largest town of Chania prefecture. Enjoy a walk to the local market, a Greek coffee at the cafés situated at the square and feel the rhythm of the picturesque town. Everywhere in Kastelli you will find traditional restaurants with Cretan cuisine and food cooked mostly with local products, A must see for Ancient Greece lovers is the ancient city of Polirinia with the Hellenistic Walls and the ancient Falasarna with the remaining of our cultural heritage. About 20klm away you can visit Milia Mountain Retreat.
